Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

We have a nice sunny day up on deck here.
Yesterday was cold and rainy. I made the mistake of finishing pruning my dappled willow shrubs while wearing my summer coop shoes. They are basically cheapo pair of plastic/rubber crocks with lots of holes in them. There was so much water over there, it covered my feet and soaked the bottom of my pants. It was 41F out yesterday so my feet got cold pretty fast. But on the bright side, the shrubs have been pruned... and are budding beautifully!
Today I'll clean the last window and exterior side of the coop and do some cleaning in the brooder room.

Need to get my old mower deck welded up, not sure it's possible.

DH said we need to get a new mower, as he can't get parts for the old one anymore. The good news about that is that the old one still works as a small tractor for pulling a cart up the hill. I just have to learn how to drive it, and I have a way to move carts full of heavy stuff.

Mines an '87 216 john deere garden tractor.
Can get new parts for tractor but the mower deck has holes rusted in it that cutting move thru and jams the blade drive.

No idea on the year, other than quite a while ago. It's a Murray, so we named it Bill. It was free, from a friend who didn't use it anymore, and wanted it out of their pole barn.
