BYC Café

That would have been nice here! Started in single digits. Made it all the way up to 15°F.
Similarly cold in the morning, might make 25°F at 4 PM. I don't see how March can go out like a lamb with rain and 35 MPH wind gusts on a base wind of 20 MPH on Thursday!
Yeah, not a fan of cold winds when i am trying to work outside.

19 degrees right now. At least we're going to start out clear and sunny. We could get freezing rain tonight/tomorrow morning. Then up to near 60. This month has been like a toddler in the terrible twos. One day, you want to wrap your arms around it and dance, and the next, you want to spank its butt and make it sit in the time out chair.

Good morning, Cafe', and thanks for the coffee. Temperature in the mid 20's now supposed to reach mid 30's. All of the magnolia trees were blooming and got frosted yesterday. Maggie is fine so far today. She asked to go out at 2:30 AM - first that has happened in at least 6 months. Her system has to be messed up after the turmoil of yesterday.

Bringing another pot... I surely need another cup this morning.

DH is still in Pittsburgh. He was hoping to be back last night, but the install isn't going well. The issue is the venue, and I'll just leave it at that. Total CF. At least the customer is paying for all the time/travel.

I was wrong about Remi's eye.
I finally got a good look at it this morning. It was damaged. She appears to be blind in that eye. She's having a hard time eating from my hand. I hope with her personality she will be able to adapt.

Just got off the phone with the vet. Maggie's bloodwork came back with everything within normal limits. She does have an antibody titer to Lyme disease, but around here that is pretty normal. All of my dogs test positive for Lyme, but only a half dozen or so over the years have had frank disease symptoms. Right now we will play 'wait and see'. We won't start medication unless necessary.
