Thanks for the coffee! I did a lot of chipping yesterday, plus wood hauling, plus a trip to town. Today, is another round of clean-up from dropping trees. My DH went to bed with a sore back and I hope he feels better today. He can drive and DS$ and I will do the back work, if he even wants to do that.

Feels chilly here this morning at 50°.
Last(hopefully) broody still in crate.
Gotta get busy and declutter the coop to make changing out bedding easier.
Am so behind on chores, I almost feel like just ignoring it all.

We have nice sunny skies, it's 50 out and I have my first load of wash on the line.

I rebuilt the chicken stairs into the coop with two more cap stones and some bricks.
It was really just an excuse to loiter in the coop and chase the song birds out. The sparrows are drawing in more species. I saw a Phoebe and a cat bird too.
I gave Fabio a good stern lecture this morning about his shortcomings in driving out the thieves. He didn't seem to care. Wait until his annual review comes up and he gets demoted...
