For the time being, we are giving Skittles a course of antibiotics for the growth on his toe. If the toe gets worse, the vet will have to amputate to the second joint because of the size of the growth. He'd never be able to get clean margins excising it.
Skittles blood work was okay. The two kidney parameters that indicate strain because of the furosemide for the CHF were a little worse than the last time. But not overly horrible. His murmur is a 3 to 4 out of 6. And I was wrong on his age. He'll be 15 on Dec 1.
If he has to go under for the toe the vet agreed to do a dental at that time as well.
Wow, that's a rather busy schedule for such an old little guy. Hopefully, this will work for him. I would love for him to be able to celebrate his 18th birthday as well.

Y'all are worsening my depression. :(:(

How about this for a little relief?

Farmer’s Almanac has been giving some ugly predictions. January is slated to be exceptionally bad.

Total respect on your chosen line of study. :bow
It is the third year of an la Nina weather pattern.

Winter should be very similar to last winter.

Ugh, I want to reply with both a heart and a frown to this post - but I don't have the option to do that. Hopefully it won't be as bad as they say, but I just have a feeling it will be. We haven't had a really awful winter since the 2014/2015 season.
