Good Morning wonderful peeps!!!
Sorry about yesterday FH (FH=Future Husband) had day off because of rain so we watched TV almost all day then went to a friends house for dinner, didn't get home til late then it was let dogs out and bed.
Coffee is HOT and READY!!!
What am I doing up so early on a Saturday? FH has to work today and Savage decided to get me up early because he had to go out but once FH leaves it's back to bed for a few hours.

Good morning Cafe. Fresh pot of coffee is ready.

Bella got me again.
I had unlocked the door to the mudroom to bring in wood then forgot re-locking it when I was done. I went to get some topsoil and came back to Bella walking down the front steps and Skittles in the front yard. Didn't see the pup and my heart jumped in my throat. I ran to the back yard and saw her rifling through the compost bin ( ). I did our normal recall command and she came running/bouncing up to me as fast as she could! Thank goodness I've been working on that.
Also happy to report no vomiting or diarrhea issues after her culinary indiscretion.

Thanks for the coffees! DH is going off for the day with a friend so I get some time to relax and get a couple of "make clutter before cleaning chores" done. I am giving my heel more time to heal before doing my normal stuff. Boots are still not so fun to wear. We have a week of 50's and nights above freezing on deck. Nice change of weather!
I love the chick pics, Cap! Way to go, Bella! Checking Mom in, LOL!

It's supposed to rain off and on for pretty much all week. Chance of snow on Tuesday. The weather plus my stupid back hurting like hell again from shoveling a yard of topsoil and 1/2 yd of mulch have my motivation in the can. It seems like I can go like gangbusters for a day or two and then I have to stop for 2 or 3 days to recover.
This getting old thing really does suck.

I just stay in motion. BUT I have been doing some pretty heavy lifting what with all the rocks, topsoil and mulch. I think I'm done with the topsoil but I'll need at least 2 more loads of mulch this year.

Maybe I'm also a little dehydrated. I don't tend to drink much when I'm working so I've got a nice big tumbler of water that I'm nursing and plan to put away a second one by the end of the day. Plus my coffee. Always my coffee...

I also downed 600 mg ibuprofen. If I feel remotely better in an hour I'm going to take the dogs out for a stroll around the fields and stay off the hill. That often helps loosen things up.

I'm almost positive lil' miss is in heat or it's imminent. She is very swollen but that is all. No excessive peeing and no blood. I think she'll stay on leash. I don't think her current recall skills can overcome a hormone surge.
