Good afternoon Cafe!

Brought another freshly brewed pot to warm up.

Fall is in full swing, actual temperatures during the day range from 9-12°Celsius, at night about 4-5 with lots of thunderstorms and heavy rain fall.

With regard to procrastination making the task obsolete:
I have yet to find a way that works with clearing the poop boards of chicken poop and gazillions of feathers . But I can't really whine as I have them all deep cleaned and smelling nice with the fresh lavender cut-offs. Finished just in time before the big deluge started.

@DobieLover Where can I find the pictures of your tree cutter guy working on your trees?

To clean my poop boards, I used a tomato cage and clothespins to hold a trash bag in place which I raked the poop off.

This really worked for me.

I think that this a good idea for a snall flock, but I have 55 birds and their nightly literally fill several buckets!

Lots going on... kid are getting older now, so they all take more time...

I think at some point the kids take up less time???

Ha!

But now, not only do they take up more time, but at times I am kid-less and end up having to do a bunch of stuff that before was done by the kids!!!

Kid 1 is now back at seminary... his second year.

Kid 2.... this woman he has know for 4 years came to visit for 2 months (she is from the Netherlands), they camped almost the entire 2 months, first summer in a long time that Kid 2 didn't have a job.

Then she had to go home, so HE FOLLOWED HER... for a month. He is now back, and back at college... and she is planning to come visit at Christmas... and he is planning to propose then... and it sounds like she wants to have the wedding HERE, and I have SONS... and yet might be planning a wedding??

But, they are fantastic together, so incredibly well together, so though they are both still young... and he is still in school(so, mostly penniless) I am thrilled.
