How is little Skittles with the new big boy in the extended family circle?
He likes him. But he's too unstable to play with him. They wag their tails and sniff at each other. Brodhi tried to play with him and knocked him over twice.
Brodhi needs to learn to tone it down a bit when playing with Piper too. Bella was a momma three times over so she knows the drill. Brodhi is rough. I think that's why Bella hovers.

He is still young and probably not used to playing with littles, but Bella will teach him, I am sure. She is a great dog. ❤️

How are things on CS front coming along?

@Packy I have the same Turkey S&P set!!!! I don't use it but it's on the table the month of November
Our store has over 150 S&P sets, and 60 cookie & canaster sets, big sellers getting ready to bring out the Christmas sets soon. We went on our anniversary trip to the mountains and went to several flea markets and bought 41 cookie jars LOL.

I FINALLY got a hold of someone in the administration offices at Absolut to discuss my concerns about DHs care. Or, to be more accurate, the lack there of.

I spoke directly with the administrator of the facility and told him what I wanted. He said he would put me in touch with the floor nurse and I told him not to bother, that I'd already expressed my concerns many times to her and nothing was done to the point that he fell for the fifth time and split his head open. He said he was going to go down and make some inquiries and call me back in 10 minutes.

20 minutes later he did call back. It took longer because he was talking to a multitude of people.

DH got put back in the neck brace to help support his head.

He has been put back in PT for the neck but they will discuss the aggressiveness of the treatment at tomorrow mornings clinical meeting.

They will also discuss putting DH on a mild muscle relaxant to help release the muscles. This is up to the resident doctor (she's useless... but maybe when put on the spot by the Administrator who is conveying the deep concerns of the POA of a resident regarding the condition her loved one is in might get her to actually look into it further).

And they will discuss reducing the amount of antipsychotic med he is on to help him connect and communicate easier now that he is settled in there.

The Admin also told me that he contacted Vestal Park and was informed that DH is in fact on the wait list and that he is second in line!! I realize that doesn't mean that he will be moved any time soon but I at least now know that he is on the list and where on the list.

I will be getting a follow up call from him tomorrow after the clinical meeting to give me an update.

I was literally crying on the phone and thanking him profusely for the information and the help.
I am so sorry, praying for you and your DH.
