I finally get to go back to working on the bathroom. I'm going to clean my car out today too. It stinks like dog!

Good Morning -
Off on an adventure with DH today. We’re going to the last threshing show of the season. He is an antique tractor buff, and loves to look at the old machinery. We’ve been going to some of these shows since we got married. I wasn’t sure I wanted to go today. Three weeks into school, and I have not had a weekend or evening home and my house is showing the neglect. Well, my mom came over to use my washer yesterday (hers is currently broken) and while she was there, loaded and ran my dishwasher and washed some of my other dishes for me, “hoping it would make it easier” for me to decide to go today. The thing is, it’s our local cancer walk and she’s a breast cancer survivor. She will be going to the walk. I felt like I should go support her, and she said, “No. You go with him today, because we both know those times will end, and we don’t know when that will be.” She and step-dad weren’t married very long before they couldn’t travel or go places due to his lung problems. I am taking her words to heart.
