Today is the day. I hope Piper does okay on the flights. We fly to LaGuardia then out to Denver. The second leg is over 6 hours in the air. I have no idea what to expect from her.

Do you have some kind of nappy for Piper in case she starts dripping?

I'm bringing all three of her diapers from when she had her heat. And this time I'm going to put panty liners in them that I can just tear out and throw away so I don't have to wash them so often. But I've also stashed some of her washable potty pads and some disposable potty pads underneath her Sherpa lining in her soft sided kennel that she will be in for her flight. I've also brought three of her favorite chew toys. I can't think of much else to do for her than that.

I had suspected as soon as she started feathering out that perhaps Georgia was not a she but he. The pointed saddle feathers have started to grow in. Georgia is now George!
I've decided that I'm going to keep him and rehome Digit and Miracle.
Digit is just so incredibly huge and he has a very large single comb that does not do well in my cold winter temperatures. He has started to terrorize Remi. And I think it won't be long before he tries to take his father down. And he will probably succeed considering his size and youth. So as soon as I get back from vacation I'm going to advertise him. In the meantime, George watching Digit get his butt kicked all over the flock will help him learn how to behave properly!

It's all by the coffee pot so help yourselves to a cup or glass then head outside to the patio and enjoy the fresh air.
I'm highly ticked off seeing how have to wait a week for my less than a yr old fridge to get either repaired or looked at. So thankful have an upright freezer and small dorm fridge for FH meds.

Last night's dinner- a prepackaged frozen (YES, I COOKED IT) and SMOKED Chicken Wings!!!
