BYC Café

I remember your telling of this some years back. A nightmare I'm sure lived on with you for some time. I can't recall if you mentioned the cause.
The cause was a power strip that shorted out, overheated and burst into flames (at least that’s what the insurance investigator determined, given the location of where the fire started). He said it was about the same as if we had poured gasoline on the rug and threw a lit match onto it.

As scary as it was that night, we were truly blessed. It definitely gave us a different perspective on what’s important. We all got out without major injuries. That’s all that matters.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
I got my flu shot yesterday and now the lymph node in my left armpit is swollen. It happened after my first two Covid shots too. It's what triggered all the hoopla in the subsequent breast exam. I go in for my annual BE in 6 days. Here we go again.

Bobbi j, do y'all have anything like this behemoth? Looks like a real workhorse. Bet it cost a dollar or two.
That is a silage chopper. We don’t have one of those. They are used by the multi-thousand cow dairies in the area. And yes - they (and any farm machinery, really) cost a dollar or two. Our “newest” piece of machinery is about 30 years old.

And what about your hip?
