BYC Café

Today is AC unit replacement day. We successfully limped through late summer with the old unit. Not only did they replace the outside unit, but also, they replaced the air handler. Think it will last as long as we have left? 15 years should more than be enough. :hmm

Good morning Cafe. I've brewed a fresh pot. I couldn't have any when I got up because I had a dentist appointment and needed to get a fasting blood draw. A nice fresh hot mug is coffee is just the ticket.
You can drink black coffee or water before labs.

I have to drink 2 liters of water or I'm a real hard stick. When I forget I feel really bad for what I've done to the lab tech. That 2 liters is drank over a period of the evening before and the morning of the stick. Usually half and half.

I got my hip X-rayed when I had my blood draw. It's negative for arthritis! :woot

However, the tech had me lay on the hard flat table, covered me with a sheet and asked me to slide my jeans down to my knees. I couldn't do it. I couldn't push my butt up off the table while laying down. The pain in my left buttock was too much. She had to lower me back down so I could stand up and do it.
Then, putting my legs into the correct positions to get the X-rays was excruciating. I had tears in my eyes.
I've asked my Dr. to increase the dose of my meloxicam Rx and lengthen the time I can have it. I know controlling the inflammation is critical to recovery and I haven't been taking the dose she prescribed because it isn't as effective as the dose Meg gave me so I've been saving it for days I need to do a lot of work around the house. But my first PT session is Monday and I KNOW it's going to hurt so I intend to take 15mg the Sunday and Monday.

I drink 17 Oz bottles of water daily. Usually at least 6 of them. Plus tea.
