Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I decided to surprise M&S last night and just showed up unannounced to just drop off their gift. I ended up staying 3 hours helping M make Christmas cookies and had dinner with them.

Brodhi is a 10x worse guard dog than mine ever dreamed of being. I was banging on the door for 2 minutes and he never made a peep.

Good Morning, Cafe’!

Well, the weather-guessers have changed the forecast again. Our “special weather statement” is gone. We are now expecting mostly rain today with high winds and the probability of icy road conditions tomorrow. I’m OK without snow, but if I had to choose, would take that instead of ice. Fortunately, where I live, we don’t have to deal with much traffic - we rarely see more than 5 cars on our 20 mile drive to town - so we at least don’t have to worry much about someone else’s winter driving skills. Just our own.

Aww bummer! Was hoping to see snow for the Lions/Vikings game.

Only warmth and fog here then rain for the next 2 days.
Treated myself to a porterhouse so will get the grill going later.

I haven't seen a white Christmas in over 25 years.

It would be very nice to see some snow again.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! It is 20 F out there with a fresh ~ 4+ inches of snow with a few flakes coming down. I think we can still make a sled go.
I spent the day cleaning, , total yuck and a necessary evil, I suppose. That gave my back something to think about. I guess it is just used to chain sawing, lol!
We will be heading off to DS@'s place for dinner tonight and The Box for my GS and the Science Museum membership for my GD are coming with. DH will need a sense of humor to get The Box back in the car and then add 2 more people...
