Another 6-8" overnight, light and fluffy tho, so path and porch were easy to clear except for the still falling snow and wind.
Large poops froze solid to roost board got left as is.

Two old people in Disney World - we had a blast. Didn't say much in advance as our last two scheduled trips were cancelled due to health issues.

YES!!! Same here! I'm amazed, really.

Our road has not been plowed today and is most likely drifted shut with the fine powdery snow. At least the county plowed the heavy wet snow off before it would have frozen solid.

Hello, Cafe’!

In the middle of Day 3 with the grandsons. I have come to understand and appreciate why God gives us little ones when we’re young… It’s been going well, despite the little one trying to cut all 4 molars at once and the fact that it’s not fit for man nor beast outside due to the cold. Oldest one loves, loves, loves instruments of all kinds (although the bassoon and sousaphone are his favorites), and classical music. So we’ve been watching music videos for part of the day. Yesterday as we were looking at his musical instruments coloring book, he was telling me, “Some orchestras have xylophones in them. But I know Bach. Bach doesn’t have xylophones.”

Finally the snowmaggedon is over, sigh, sun even shone for a bit this afternoon.
It's just really nice to look out and NOT seeing any snow falling!
Still the frigid temps to get thru the next day or so, while digging out the run and clearing the seriously sagging(hopefully not kinked) roof mesh.
Then I can/will think about finding someone to clear the driveway.
Shed roofs need to be cleared too, before the rain on the 23rd.

Good morning Cafe. HOT coffee is ready.

The sliding glass doors were almost stuck shut this morning. It's 11.
I am getting soft. I turned on the seedling heat mats in the nest boxes and stuffed the boxes full of hens last night.
