2 eggs in the box this morning from Savannah and one of the Barnies. Another gal started laying yesterday, the largest egg on the right. Thanks for laying it on the coop floor in single digits temps. The dogs will get that when it thaws.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! We had snow flurries on and off yesterday but I am hoping for sunshine today. It is still relatively warm up here.
I hope the freezing rain did not cause issues!

Sorry to hear that. Water problems are never just water problems, are they? Everything it touches becomes its own problem, it seems.

Of home repairs that hubby is capable of... plumbing is his least favorite.

I think I would say plumbing is my least favorite repair as well. If I wanted to get mad at water regularly I would have gone into the trades.

Good Morning ALL! Happy Monday. Hope everyone had a great weekend! FH and I met with a wonderful local baker yesterday. We liked her and her prices so we hired her on the spot for our wedding cake and cupcakes. And as her gift to us next year 2 weeks before our first anniversary we go back to see her and we get a complimentary 6'cake.
Not sure what I did but good thing FH had a wrist brace from his injury 4 years ago. I think I sprained/twisted it but it doesn't help that Savage likes to pull even with a harness on and 2 leashes (1 hooked to harness and the other to his collar)

His CT Scan showed clots in his lungs and 2 spots on his liver.

Of course, we'll deal with it at his next appointment.

What is up with brown rice? Costco has not had it in 6 months. Now my local store, Meijer, doesn't have any.

We were at a small grocery store Saturday for a certain ale that they carry. I detoured to the aisle with rice, and they had brown, so I bought 3 bags.

Anyone else finding a lack of brown rice in the store?

I'm surprised those stores even carry it.
I've always bought it in bulk at the co-op in Kazoo.
But haven't in a long time, can't chew it up very well anymore...I miss it.
