Time change not my friend got us this morning.
Do not wake at 2 to change them.
Had 3 hatch have the humidity stable no zip tie.
Smoke color lid.

Good evening Café!

The sunny days of early spring are gone and it is cold and windy again with grey skies and night frosts.
The older I get the less I can stand the permanent dark grey weather.
Two weeks of cold and snow would be enough for my liking but it should be accompanied by clear blue sky and sunshine.

Well, the other day I already saw a brimstone butterfly so spring should hopefully come soon to stay.

I change my bedroom clock Saturday night...and go to bed 'early'.

Here in Germany the usual change to summer time will happen the last Sunday of March.

I hate it!

Another positive of today:
As soon as my broody left her nest I took advantage to candle the eggs and all 13 of them are fertile and developing nicely.

How did it go and did you need to sit down when they presented you with the bill?

The time change won't really affect me until this evening when it doesn't get dark until after 7:30.

I went to bed at the usual time last night (9 ish), got up when it got light to take care of the chickens. The funny thing about today, though, there was an hour missing in the morning for our usual Sunday morning routine.

I came home from the store and it was past lunch time, and already 1:00. Huh. Not sure how that happened.

I sure could get behind the "let's stop this stupid thing of changing the clocks twice a year" movement. We've said we don't want it. I think they (the ubiquitous "they") have voted to end it. Yet, here we are, doing it. Still.

Think it falls to they have "more important " things to do.
Washington State has voted like 4 times I know of.
