Someone gave my daughter one of those things - it was called "Baby Tad." It got played with some, but eventually it was outgrown and put into the attic. When batteries are running down, those electronic toys can get a bit eccentric . . . .

For several days, I had thought I occasionally heard voices coming from upstairs when I was alone in the house. That was ridiculous - I figured it was just my ears playing tricks on me. Well, one day, I heard what sounded like a voice again, and I decided to investigate. I went up there, and sure enough, I was hearing what sounded like words spoken slowly in a deep, base voice. When I got over near the box of old toys, the voice told me to "pick uup Baaybee Taaaaaaaaahd."

Uh, no. I don't think so.:hide

Yall are cracking me up!  But thanks, I needed it on my lunch break....

So here's mine...  my son had one of those hexagon balls with farm animal pictures on it.  You roll it, and whatever lands on top is the sound it would make.  I can still here that cow in my head and my son is almost 25 years old!  It was a moooo, with almost a squeal at the end of it.  We always said that cow was in the middle of its mooooo and got snuck up on from behind by a bull....  :lau

LMAO :lau. I don't know that I would have ever been brave enough to investigate a noise in the attic alone!
And yes we have many farm animal here, if only you guys could hear the duck

I was gifted a talking Chucky - I burned him.

He has haunted me ever since. Finally this Christmas there was no Chucky.

Quote:

Chucky comes home for Christmas
Just you wait and see.
He'll be there
In your favorite chair
Or climbing up the tree.
Coats and beds may hide him
But soon he will appear
Chucky comes home for Christmas
To Sourland, don't you fear!

How many places can you find to hide a Chucky doll, or a picture of a Chucky doll?

Aww, Sour. If Chucky didn't show up this Christmas, maybe it's because he thinks you don't love him any more?

Love him any more? Never did - FEAR is the emotion that he instills in me.

OFW, I saw one Chucky movie and made the mistake of admitting that HE scared me. That Christmas he showed up anonymously under the tree. I banished him to the cellar - he appeared in my bed. I banished him to the utility shed and he appeared in my underwear drawer. I burned him up, and the next Christmas he reappeared. I burned him again. I have no idea how many times this has occurred. Right now there is a 'little' Chucky with a little knife in the upper left hand corner of the computer desk, So far he has not hurt me, but I am very watchful. Perhaps his presence keeps BIG Chucky away or perhaps it's the talking Beavis bobblehead that keeps me safe. Never underestimate the power of Chucky.

Lol oh I do not. Chucky came out when I was fairly young, too young to watch the show. But the movie trailers are more then enough to scare a child with a healthy imagination. Right at about the same time my mom gave me one 9f her old dolls. It was huge, almost as tall as me. Most of its hair had fallen out, so mom had but an old wig on its head. However it did not take long for me to realize that under the wig was red hair. Couple that with the Chucky trailers and that doll terrified me. I was embarrassed to admit that the doll scared me, so it stayed in my room. But it's leg broke and came off. I would set the doll in one corner and put the leg clear in another. I figured if it woke and decided to kill me I might have a good running start before it got its leg and could chase :lau

That was smart, OFW. Chucky hides beneath a multitude of guises.

True Story: We were in Amsterdam and one of the tourist attractions is a walk through the red light district. I was not interested, but the Princess was curious so I tagged along. One of the 'Ladies' had a large Chucky in her 'sitting room'.

To whom would that be a turn on?
