14?! That's sooo not fair! I'll be nice, and not tell you what kind of weather I have today; it's definitely "I feel sorry for folks who have to stay inside" weather, though.

Mornin' y'all!

One cup down, I think I should be good for a while. My list is pretty long today, have to delivery the cookies to the soup kitchen for lunch today, so that's a trip into town. And since I'll be there I might as well pick up some more sugar and butter (you never know when the baking bug will bite!)

Took Tonka for a pretty long walk yesterday. He needs to lose some weight, we are not winning that battle. This dog find food everywhere! So, we will try to get another walk in today, although thunderstorms are supposed to hit at some point. DH is very excited for this. He's been waiting for years to have a porch he can sit on while it rains.

The paint on my walls came from Sherwin-Williams, their Rustic Retreat palate. Beautiful colors, which compliment all the wood wonderfully. The last three or four new homes that I was in were all done in that contemporary "shades of grey". Yuck! That will be out of style in a couple of more years, not to mention white cabinets? In a house with dogs, cats and mud...nope, I don't think so!

Diva- the dogs are usually lounging on the couch, which is why it is covered in blankets. And the toilet paper holder placement was dictated by the wood. While lovely to look at, it isn't exactly flat....LOL

Good morning everyone! It rained last night! A really good thunder storm!

It's good that you had a nice rain event!
We are going from way too much water to starting to get a bit too dry already.

Hope that your day is normal for you!

Morning! Started the day with some OJ and now the coffee to warm me up. It snowed...... breezy and cold again, back down to 14. I was so thinking of Spring.....
Good Morning Margie

It is still the middle of March here

and those crazy weather people are forecasting a few days of frost/freezing mornings early next week.
It has been in the 80's and lows about mid 50's, just about everything is in bloom.

Only one cup, you must be young and full of get-up-n-go.
Why is it that the critters that need to lose weight can find so much to eat everywhere?
It's just not dogs with that trick, we have a horse who can find one sprig of grass and work at getting it, while gaining weight.

That is one of ur favorite things to do too! We all sit out on the porch and watch the rain. Saddly we do not have much of a porch on this house. But it is in my dream plans ;)

I built us a large porch. 16' deep, and about 60' long........all across the front of our house.

it's nice to be able to work on projects when it's raining........or to send the kids outside, even if it's raining.

Ours is all of 4 ft deep :/ it spans the whole front of the house, but not good for much more then a sidewalk.
