Good morning all.
It is showering here. There were sever thunderstorms all around us and we missed out completely yesterday. It is great, do not really want golf ball sized hail, but we had no rain either. So hopefully we get something worth counting now.

We have the nasties for the eastern plains and NE corner posted. I hope you don't get anything drastic today as well.
If the sheep cooperate, I need to head down and get some hay at some point in time this week.....

We have finally stopped feeding hay, the cows are to the point they just ignore it. Hopefully you get some grass growing soon, of course at your temps that might take a bit of time

The coffee is splendid!
The horses can go back out on pasture June 1st. We pull them because the pastures get so wet in the spring, the horses will tear them up. At about 6000 ft, the grass is over a foot high....

Margie, did things get a chance to dry out this silly season?
We have not dried out all the way from winter yet, and this past rain didn't help any at all.

Berts, up and off to a field trial. Ran 3 dogs and barely managed to get a 4th place. Judging was fine - performance of the entire class was poor.
