Good morning!
We have a predator it would seem. I have lost 2 birds so far. I locked everyone into my brooder room last night and counted heads this morning, everyone is accounted for. The birds were unhappy with this development, I am sure they felt cramped (I usually allow them the whole barn)
When I went out i found a small bit of white fur by the door and several things in the barn knocked down...thinking it might have gotten a cat.
I called my little brother and he is coming out with a live trap.

Sorry about the birds and cat. Hope you catch it soon.

Thank you, yes I hope it is quickly taken care of. It did not get one of my female cats, so I am not terribly broken up about it. It is a much crueler way then what I would have liked, but I had to decrease my Tom population anyway. Hopefully he got a couple good hits in.

Good morning everyone! I've missed a few mornings in the Café, but I'm back for a little while.....leaving for a vacation tomorrow and doubt I'll be on BYC. Went to go clean the goat house today and it started thundering and lightning. Hopefully it'll stop soon and I can get it cleaned, it really needs to be done. Have a nice Humpday everyone!

I don't need a pie crust, but thanks for asking.
It's back to normal summer weather here, close to the 90's and 'T' storms in the afternoon.

Current temp - 85. Humidity - 85. Probability of T-storms by this evening - about the same. Yep, it's summertime! (How did we ever survive this before AC?!!)
