BYC Café

My vote would still go to "Buddy," who is a great baker and Gingerbread house maker

@N F C Bam Bam looks a sweetie, Beast is named for a reason even the vet can't knock him out!

@FridayYet try peppermint -I know it is for tum upsets but works wonders on bad headaches, my son has TMJ and get dreadful headaches its seems to work for him.

Thanks for sharing the kitty pictures. Love kitties but Im highly allergic...maybe someday if I have a proper barn Ill be able to get a barn kitty.

Also, I forgot, being a stay at home mom is not easy. I did it for about 10 years. Then my DH bugged me to go back into the work force and then one month later my entire family was begging me to quit and stay home...nope, not happening, I found going to work so much easier. But hang in there, those babies grow up fast. One in grad school, one heading to college in the fall and one in 9th grade. It flew by...as they say

Thank you whoop whoop. I think my electrolytes are off so I drank some chicken bullion mixed with bone broth, and it helped. Will try some peppermint tea before bed. Thanks!

We just moved to a new area; it was unexpected and happened to come right at the end of my mat leave. I was planning to go back to work (my company even opened up a shoebox office here a month before we moved!). But then we found this farm...and..well..
On the bad days I swear I'm just going to go back to work (thats what those university degrees were for right??), but then of course I love not having bosses, or tight deadlines, I love being there for my little guy and giving him an early childhood full of outdoor adventure. But you're right, it's tough, and for reasons that are often hard to explain.

I'm hoping to do a bit of both eventually. Going to be starting a small farming business over the next couple years, so a day or two in day care and having a business to run I'm hoping to find a new balance. (and then I'll get pregnant again and throw it all for a loop lol)
