Morning. Windy here too. I guess 60 mph or so, I don't know, I slept through it all, but it is warm! That is the good thing. DS$ does not need surgery, gets his cast next week on Wed for two weeks and then gets a below the elbow removable cast for the rest of the time so he is planning on starting the cardio stuff back up then.....
um, okay then.......

He is aiming for MS Regionals and State. He asked me if this was going to make him a different wrestler...? I said, "I don't know. It is up to you." I think he remembers all of the conversations from motocross when the talk was about kids needing time to get over being super nervous to jump or race again.
I would imagine some of the same issues apply to wrestling, especially when facing the same wrestler. Guess we will figure this one out as he goes along, but I seriously love the complicated thought processes that go with a maturing mind.

Good to see that DS$ is healing nice and will be able to start up again soon.
As far as him being changed or worried, by the sounds of it he will be OK.
He is thinking about all of it now and not putting it off until later if at all.

Well, Howdy Neighbor!  That is a long way to go for a babysitting gig......   pull off your boots and stay awhile!

It is a long way, but not near as long a trip as it was from SoCal. It's about a 6 hour drive or so, but usually no traffic until you hit Colorado Springs.

DD1 and SIL will be in Jamaica for a week. Nice I can work from here while they are in preschool. Glad it will be a bit warmer this week!

My brother dropped what he was doing & drove the 7hrs from Phoenix to San Diego once, on the spur of the moment, to babysit my kids when we were in a pinch. It is a debt I'll probably never be able to repay. You are a very good grandparent Friday!!!

Phil, hope you have a good Sunday as well. No going out for us tonight, we're just not into the whole football thing. DH has been working all hours trying to wrap up some projects at the golf course before his foot surgery on Tuesday. We're going to have a quiet evening at home with the 3 wild kittens we call pets, lol.
