BYC Café

I'll try seeing how I don't know it will turn out because somehow during the night we ( meaning my Uncle's property) acquired a new cat which my Uncle won't be to happy about. I'm going to see if later on if the cat is still around my cousin ( once he wakes up which won't be until around noon) will take it to the neighbors where it's eye can be tended to. The neighbors already have an assortment of animals ( goats, guinea hens, cats and dogs and a turkey) so I know they will have the proper medicine. The only thing is the cat has taken a liking to me.

It's not a bad thing to have a cat like you, but that is only my opinion.
Good luck with your new cat. ;)

I know it's not a bad thing to be accepted or liked by a cat but it's a bad thing when the property owner has already made the statement, "NO MORE CATS". I think it found its way to the neighbors anyway- watched it head that way.

Thanks for the coffee Scott.

Guess my girls have a bunch of snow from your storm too, Margie. DD1s new garden is now buried - although nothing like you have up there. She was bummed though.

Good Friday Morning, Friday :frow
Snow is better then that other weather that is happening in the West.
I do hope that those tornadoes don't tear-up to much stuff and nobody is hurt.

Here shortly it's going to be hurricane season in the south so let's not forget about those folks either while we are thinking of how Mother Nature likes to knock some down with " temper tantrum" storms.

Always makes me laugh when people talk about the West, when it's East of us. I had to move East to even get to the SouthWest!

But my sister is in Oklahoma, and spent a scary night in her master bedroom closet with the dogs. Luckily no damage, but chance of flooding today.

Morning! Power did manage to stay on for the most part when it finally came back on. I had to think about what Scott was saying too, Friday.
I am not a fan of tornados, not at all. I will take my snow and watch out below when all of this starts melting. Gardening in these parts means that nothing should be planted that you can't cover until June and then maybe you will be good. Yes, this is a record snow for this time of year and we are supposed to get up to 6 inches more today. I have a backhoe coming for my driveway and so it looks like DS$ will be able to make the G/FS CO State Wrestling tournament on Sat. The team was looking at us funny when I said, "Maybe, it depends on the weather. " No school the past two days and then there was a school lockout last week because of a momma moose and her yearling grazing in the athletic field. Gotta love the mountains!

And that's why we stayed south of the border when the kids wanted us to move to Denver! LOL.

This is a great place to get our winter training wheels. Usually I see it snow out the window on the mountain, but it doesn't usually stick here.

@Mtn Margie glad the powers back and all is well. Nothing like a freak snow storm to throw a wrench in seasonal plans. I don't have anything in the garden yet myself.

Our two day heat wave is over, two days of intense wind but no storms materialized.

Thanks for the coffee!

Enjoy the weekend everyone; it's a long weekend here!:wee
