Having babies is one of the best things you can do, it is truly wonderful. It produces a bond like nothing else. And the amazing thing is how they are little copies of their parents. I even see myself in my granddaughter. Really awesome.

Oh I bet it's amazing, just the birthing part scares me :lau

They (Kids) can sneak up on you. We have three and it is a life altering condition...Mostly good though. The last DD is 18 and talking about moving out next year. Empty nest time!

:wee

That's awesome!

Don't get too excited, they often act like boomerangs and come back.

Hahaha too true and I'm guilty of this.

I'm 23 and still live at home. And my older brother is 26 and lives 2 miles away with his girlfriend in my grandma's house. He comes over a lot. My other brother is like an hour away at school. He doesn't really come home that much but when he does, it's usually random and he's somewhat helpless despite being 21, almost 22. He also likes to drive back at night instead of just staying?

K, the birthing part is hard but women have been doing it for a very long time. It is truly worth it. I did not have epidurals for either of my births. You get through it one contraction at a time. I was a bit shocked the first time, the Lamaze breathing did not help much . But you cope. If it was all that bad no one would have kids.

Hmm, I suppose you're right! I'm just a huge baby about pain and even the smallest thing hurts lol and I'm also OCD and have anxiety so I would probably focus more on the pain or weird discomforts while pregnant LOL i hate being sick and stuff so 9 months of that? Eek :lau

BUT.

I'm sure it's worth it and I do want my own kids eventually so I'll probably do it eventually. I'm just nervous haha

And of course first I need to find a boyfriend or husband :lau

But yeah, I think I'll definitely have my own. Just a matter of when. Cause while I'd love to adopt or foster or something too maybe, I also definitely want my own kids if that makes sense. Not that I'd love the others less but idk, your own seems different. Hopefully you know what I mean. But even adoption is nervewracking too cause you don't know their genetics or history and you sometimes hear horror stories about the kid being crazy or something.

But this is all a longggg way off

Time flies when you are having fun! I felt nauseated a bit when pregnant but i would just burp and it would ease up. Never had a cold or anything while pregnant so i felt healthy. The worst part was i had a miscarriage the first time i was pregnant and it was really upsetting because we wanted a child. They never admitted me to the hospital, just let me lay on that miserable gurney all night and listen to the guy in the next cubicle moan and groan. He must have had a bad appendix or something. I had three more pregnancies and two live children. One in 1985 and one in 1988. Wonderful men now.

Just came in to cool off. Sweat running down my face and back. Making progress though. 20170922_140907.jpg

Hmm, that doesn't sound too bad then. And sorry about the miscarriages! :/ that's good you finally got children though :)

Yes, they are so special! There is nothing like bonding with your child that first couple of weeks, when they are totally dependent on you. Life changing.
