Well so far no trick or treaters - I'm hiding in the basement(bunker). I've always hated answering the door or phone. My friends and family can attest to that. Years of therapy made no difference.

Me too! I will go out of my way to avoid making phone calls.

No one ever calls my cell phone except drs offices and people looking for the lady that had this number before. We live in the middle of nowhere, and don't even have a door bell.

We had 8 kids come to the door! Plenty of candy left over...

Zero here, all the candy is safe. But the dog ran off a flock of turkeys and some varmint near the garden. So i turned the hot wire back on. I mean really, can't they leave my garden alone? I would love to close in the whole thing! Just a fence is not enough.

I think i should get bonus points today. I washed 2 sinks full of dishes. That is what happens when you do a lot of cooking.

People are too scared to come down our driveway because it's very long and wooded LOL

The only person that sometimes used to come down is my friends when we were young and had friends on the other street

We only know the closest neighbors. And our driveway is at the end of a dirt road that runs off of another dirt road. The driveway is 400 feet long. Hope we don't get much snow here.

Actually, no but i have 14 guineas as well. I think i will move the Sussex out to the new coop (12 of them). There will not be a run, but once they have been there long enough i am going to try to let them free range. Once the Sussex are out of the half coop, the Polish will have the space to themselves , as well as the large run. The guineas can stay in the run they are in, which also has half a coop. They free range anyway already. They sure can fly!
