He's hiding the sword under his wing.


He's a young buckeye (early May hatch). I got a buckeye pullet too but it was getting dark when I got home so I don't have a good picture of her.

sheesh. I was thinking buckeye or chantecleer, couldn't remember how to tell the 2 apart.


So...ya gonna fess up and tell us if you have seen broadsword wearers stop at the bank or restaurants?

P.s. chanticlers are usually buff or white. Partridge chanticlers are more brown. I saw a gorgeous one today. I think I'll be spending all next summer building coops.
