BYC Café

So speaking of gaining weight, I made chocolate brownies with butterscotch chips and pecans on top.
Going to have some right now with a salted caramel hot chocolate sprinkled with cinnamon.

I may have a minor sweet tooth.
As long as no cavities, i guess you are good!

@KDOGG331 Pictures for sure! :)

But no worries getting those plans to me. I want to build something along the lines of 10x30 lol. Though I'll be lucky with something even half that size I think :p.

So do you think I should get Easter Eggers? :lau I like the idea of the colourful eggs; though I feel like it may not be a "responsible" choice for my long term goals of selling eggs :hmm. But meh, I figure now is the time to try out breeds anyway. And who knows; maybe it'll be a selling point? I do love the mix of shades we have now.

I am also in the same camp of wanting every breed there is :)
I also have Wyandotte, Barnevelder and Brahmas

The breeds on the list for next year are currently (but will probably change once a week):
Buckeye, Barred Rock, Easter Eggers
And possible subs: Welsummer, Dorking
could still make the list: Dominque, Chantecler, Java, Maran, Delaware

and there's more of course :thhow do you even decided?

On the home bakers thread there is a hot cocoa recipe from @rjohns39

Instant Hot Coco Mix

Huge Note: Powdered milks are not created equal. We taste tested more than a dozen brands before we settled on this mix. Range of results went from Horrible/nasty - too rich.

QTY Unit Description
2 Cup Powdered sugar
1 Cup cocoa (dutch process)
2.5 Cup powdered milk
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp cornstarch
1 pinch cayenne or chipolte pepper (Optional)
5.5 Cups Serving Size (1/4 cup or 4 coffee scoops) add hot water and freeze dried marshmallows. I'll generally double the recipe and we have huge air tight container to keep it in. Made my last batch in January.

If you like it richer, creamier you can use Nido Milk, but in taste test, DW thought that was too much.

Edited to change the first milk link.

That is a nice list. Dorkings pretty old fashioned but I like them(They go broody)
