So a random share; I had a project once that required me to measure down to the bottom of sewar man holes.
It was a pretty gross project, I don't recommend it.

there are bantam Dominiques. But the full sized are full sized. The girls are bigger than leghorn girls.
I find hatchery Dominiques in general pretty nice. I wouldn't knock 'em.
I have switched to a heat plate. SO MUCH NICER!!! Less fire risk, less electricity used. Works well.
ugh! Horrid. I wish people hadn't built on those slopes.
Supposed to be getting work done. But I sat down. And found myself down the rabbit hole of chicken breeding and ideas on meat crosses. And now I've got future visions of my lovely sustainable farm business lol. Ok, I think I might have a few minutes before the little one wakes up. I hope everyone else's day is more productive then mine!

stupid. What, never been fires before?
Like the sewage people here in town. A friend had a house in town (in ALASKA), and a city sewage pipe froze which caused 4 houses on a cul-de-sac to flood with ALL of the uphill city sewage.
The city tried to argue that it was not their fault for the design flaw... (sure, why would pipes in Alaska ever risk getting frozen??)
They wanted to give the hone owners ZERO money for 4 inches of city sewage standing in their houses.
Finally after MUCH fighting, the city gave each home owner 10k. it cost about 40 k per home owner to fix.
What?!??? That is just wrong on so many levels! That reminds me of an arrest of a guy near Peterborough ON. The guy actually climbed down into a public outhouse at a park so that he could look at women's privates.
It is hard to really mess up bread!Sometimes I can be such a ditz.
I got everything set to make some bread in my machine. Plugged it in and walked away. An hour later I discovered that I hadn't put the mixing paddle in. Luckily it hadn't started baking yet. Stuck my hand in (ooey gooey) got the paddle in and restarted it. Bread just finished and it turned out fine. Phew.

Ya, so I thought that was fake the first time I heard it. Was a little disturbed when I looked it up! We like that park and would visit several times a year. But luckily the outhouse incident was 10 years before I moved to the area. (That man is dead now fyi)
Ok, so that exact thing happened to me a couple months ago!![]()
