[The Farmers' Daughter]

Good morning

I haven't figured out or tried to save seeds... but I'd like to. My garden didn't grow very well last summer. Too cool an wet in the spring so everything was really slow coming up.

Yesterday we finally got around to burying my chicken and I think I slightly hurt my back digging the hole plus I fell in it and hit my back on a tree branch lol besides that, i've had a headathe for like 3 or 4 days straight

It's barely above freezing today, but the sun is occasionally shining down, just puttering around doing family stuff today, trying to get a few things taken care of around the house.

Just brought home our Christmas tree, now the house will smell glorious all month

Sounds like one of my Projects! It is not finished until there is a cut or a bruise! I will often say something like: I bled for this tree!

Yup! You're not doing it right or working hard enough if you don't get injured somehow

And it did, thank you! I do wish I had buried her sooner though so I feel slightly bad about that but I am glad o finally buried her.

Oh and this is what I did to her grave.

OMG Friday, you found it! Thank you so much for the picture!

Almost made me cry, I loved that store. It's still the same color we painted it (and got in trouble with the architectural review board for the dark trim). We had it fixed up so nice with a Conch flag and US flag on the roof and with a string of little nautical flags lining the front. We had our big custom made sign with the name of the store and a schooner ship up on that false front on top. Rows of ceramic tea pots, every color, in one window and a display of nautical things (like ships in a bottle, compasses, sextants, etc.) in the other.

Thank you Friday, it means a lot to me that you took this picture.

My dog would rip the toy apart trying to get to it
