I've found myself being quite cautious about how much I lift at my age because I do not want no hernia. I've heard some horror stories about the repair of them things
Yeah, that was the third repair on that one! He had recalled mesh in there too!

I actually had a great hernia repair.

Fast, easy, almost zero recovery. Rah, rah.

2 of my kids are going with me to a swanky wedding. kid 3 and 4. So I bought swanky clothes for kid 3. I thought since I had shelled out, he might as well wear them! So I made him dress up for the Christmas service (we had the Christmas service early.... this afternoon, since we had to "borrow " a priest). I had bought my kid 2 outfits (super sale) so made him and his friend dress up. His friend was more excited than my kid, I think.

His friend is a hoot.. his friend, Seraphim, lives in town, so often spends Saturday night with us so that he can get to church on time. Seraphim has a bunch of younger siblings, so it is hard for his dad to get to church on time. Seraphim likes being an altar server, so needs to be at least on-time-ish.

Anyway, my kid is the one on the right... Seraphim has the super happy face, on the left.

If there was an award for 'most lousy gift wrapper', I would be in contention.

I'm sure you would be a strong second place contender.:)

Lol most definitely

Nah i think it might be me lol

both good looking kids you can be proud Dad to be with them Merry Christmas

Children are dreaming about sugar plums, cookies and milk are eaten, there are presents under the tree, but I could not talk DH into wearing a night cap
the house is still messy, people are just going to have to ignore it. 3 yr was very happy to see the snow this morning, I think she was worried about Santa making it here with out snow for the sleigh.
Good night and Merry Christmas.

Sounds like an ideal Christmas to me! Wish we could visit the grandkids for the holiday!
