I grew up thinking a crackle was a starling. That's what my mom called them. Didn't know otherwise until I moved to Ohio and CJ set me straight.
I used to enjoy studying wild birds. I put up a bird feeder and was always having to chase off squirrels. But i started building bird houses as a teenager. Once i get my animals all set up, i want to build some bird houses for the birds here. There are lots of varieties. We had a feeder out all winter and they finally discovered it about a month ago.

I thought goats preferred brush/browse to grazing anyway? And they eat all sorts of weeds and clear land.

Though of course they might eat some grass and might be good to plant stuff but I think they're different from sheep and horses?

You could plant some goat friendly browse though! You know, like trees and/or bushes and stuff. I bet they'd love that!

I have nearly 13 acres of trees and bushes! But i want to grow stuff like clover and lespedeza, hay etc. for ground cover in the pasture areas. Less muck that way.

sheep are more ground clear animals not goats
Goats will eat and kill bushes and small trees. Sheep will kill even hay and grassy areas because they chew it down so close to the roots. That is why cattlemen hate sheep.
