DS$ off to Indiana today. My cat just jumped and slid into my coffee cup. There is coffee everywhere over the keyboard, table, floor and I am sure the cat too but it skedaddled when I let fly with a few choice "Statements of Fact!" What a freaking mess...

Was just cloudy before and actually kinda sunny but now it's like torrential downpours/flash flood? I'm thinking it'll be over soon though. Came out of nowhere but I had a feeling it was gonna rain as it got cloudier and darker. Glad I walked Libby when I did.

Good morning Cafe

Coffee is ready or tea if you like!
Been a busy 24hrs. with pheasant chicks hatching and the following story. Came home from work yesterday to find a new born fawn wandering around one of my pheasant pens. Well, George saw it and went to investigate. I went and picked George up to take him back inside so he wouldn't disturb the fawn.
As I was walking back to the house, the fawn had imprinted on me and was following me back to the house. It layed down at the steps, I did some things inside and went back out and took some pics, went inside again and when I returned she was gone.
Looked around and found her wandering around again. She was bleeting and no momma was coming to her aid....so now I have another mouth to feed. Here's the pics. Videos will follow on her progress.

Ok, this early to bed, early to rise thing is getting ridiculous. I wasn't even early to bed but here I am. I guarantee it's a nap day with the doggies this afternoon.

There's coffee and hot water. I have some Honeybush tea I brought along if anyone cares to try. Delicious hot or iced! Have a great day everyone
