Hello, Café, we are home from our mini vacation. It is so nice to 'not have to do anything'. I have a problem living in the moment, but in a beach chair by the ocean I can relax. Read a paper back novel each day, ate seafood and got lots of sleep. As always it is good to be back.

I have been outside working on the turkey coop with hubby. We got a log skirt all the way around the coop and run, and i put a hardware cloth apron near the door to the coop, all the way over to the edge of the run door.

It dropped down to 44 with rain and hail enough to look like snow. 2.5 inches of rain...
I had to scoop hail ice blocks out of the feeder in order to feed the grain this evening.
The babies have no idea what happened this afternoon. !!!!

Yeah, it is hot. We keep coming in to cool off, eat, drinking lots. Hoping to put turkeys in tomorrow!
