Miss the old kids tv shows, having a kid around was a great excuse for watching. I also loved "Reading Rainbow," Sesame Street, way, way back "Kukla,Fran & Ollie" with Madam Ooglepuss."

We also had Rootie Kazootie, Garfield Goose, Elmer the Elephant, Two Ton Baker, Ding Dong School - okay so sometimes I watched them without a kid around.

Was Mr. Greenjeans on with Captain Kangaroo or was it Ray Raynor? Ugh, too much, need more memory.

Also I wanted to be a cowboy(I didn't know you could be a cowgirl) because on Roy Rogers he got to do things and his wife never did anything interesting.

The old shows were way better and you actually learned stuff, some of the new ones the kids act like spoiled brats lol
