But the river is running fast and very muddy!

G'morning cafe :frow

Coffee and hot water are ready.

Went out to start chores at 4 am in the dark and almost had a heart attack...there was an owl sitting on top of the quail pen and I didn't see it until it flew off to the neighbors palm tree. There were 2 that live around here but I haven't seen the big one this year yet.

Anyway, sorry to ramble. Have a great day!
Yikes! I have heard owls at night here but the only one i have seen is the one i saw in broad daylight in town, sitting in a tree.

Playing that furnace game myself, how long I can go before putting the heat on. Air conditioning was soooooo expensive this summer. I find I am perfectly comfortable in bed with blankets, LLBean fleece lined flannel hooded shirt & fleece lined jeans. Problem is I didn't want to get out of bed, it's almost 4:30 pm and I just got up.

Yeah, our air was really expensive too but we had a lot of them going at once. We don't have central air. And yeah, I honestly love the cold and often sleep with the windows open or at least cracked and no heat on or at the bare minimum to make my room not a meat locker lol but I personally prefer to just burrow under a bunch of blankets and flannel pajamas. Heat is dry air which dries my eyes and throat etc. out. I'm constantly turning the heat down in the house when my parents turn it up higher than I like lol
