It's healing just slowly. This is twice in 3 months my body has had to deal with the trauma...it's just taking more time this time to heal, it's hard on a body this old to heal like it did to when it was young.

No, she would say get your butt in to get a second opinion before your leg heals all crooked. Then they have to break it so it can heal straight!

No idea, did you check her for parasites? Was her comb pale or red? Did she have loose stool?

Sorry about your girl Penny! Did you check her over after you found her? I had a BA girl turn up dead one morning...she was a strange girl from the very beginning. When we found her, her neck was broken, we think she was trying to fly around inside the coop and ran into the wall (she had done it before without hurting herself). Sometimes weird things just happen.
