I've been reading your featured thread about roosters. Have you still got one?

Oh! Um, I had no idea it was featured. Yes I do, a new one. That thread was about my first boy. I did like him, very much. However, he crossed the line too many times with humans and began punishing the hens if they so much as came for a treat when I went out so he's no longer with us. It was like he saw us as competition.

I'll have to go visit that thread.

I'm pleased to read you have a rooster. I do like the roosters here although some tend to tear the arse out of it from time to time. We usually get ourselves sorted out.

I have two now my year old is blue ameracauna new kid on the block is 5 month old black copper marans that lets me pet him kinda odd not sure the older one likes me petting him

I was taught when young that respect was something you earned, not something you were entitled to.

Idk, i have missed her too. But i seem to remember they were planning to go work on the new house.

I put up tarps today, one on the guinea run, two on the turkey run. Glad i got that done. I need more tarps and plywood.
