Good morning Cafe!

Thanks for the coffee IM, I've had 2 cups though so made a fresh pot. And yummmm, sausage biscuits...nice breakfast thank you very much!

IM, I'll have to check out your featured thread. When I sign on, I go direct to my watched threads and don't usually pass Home or collect $200.

We've been up in Casper since Friday, working on the house we're fixing up to sell. Friday I helped DH demolish the kitchen and after several hours of that, I found out tearing out drywall is not my forte. Messy, dirty, very heavy stuff! DH managed the rest of the kitchen drywall by himself. And I spent most of the rest of the time there tearing up old trim work...that's more my speed

I see DD has a new avatar, very nice!

Hey @Shadrach apparently DH was in Barcelona without my knowledge! He tried to use his bank card yesterday and it was declined due to purchases made in Barcelona. Stupid thiefs! It's straightened out now and a new bank card on the way.

Back to catching up...I'll probably be back later for more of that delicious coffee

Yup, Barcelona does have that reputation. In its defense, violent crime is rare.
Pickpockets and fraud are very common.
What was the other half doing in Barcelona? It isn't like that's a quick cross state trip.

I was just kidding him about going to Barcelona without me when that charge showed up on his bank card. DH was born in Germany (his dad was military) but came to the US when he was 3 months old and hasn't been outside the country since.

Every place has it's good and bad. Whether it's the people, the weather or it's government

We have a pinkish morning here too Margie. I KNOW we'll be having wind (we always do) and snow is predicted for Friday and Sunday.

There's more dry wall to tear up on the Casper house but DH is going to go back Wednesday to take care of that. This house has popcorn ceilings in the living room, the main hallway and the kitchen...and not the usual small little bumpy stuff. It's big chunks of popcorn that someone used an oil based paint to cover it up. Thick, nasty stuff

So I missed where you are moving too ? we are dry right now but rain off and on last couple days rarely get snow have had my coffee even a pancake for breakfast

We're not planning on moving Penny (unless something should happen to DH's job ). We bought a house to fix it up to sell it.

Well, the place we're living now isn't where we really want to stay. But our living quarters are provided because of DH's job. Some day we'd like to be able to move up to NW Wyoming for our forever home.

We had a lot of popcorn stuff in our house and removed most of it. Nasty stuff and sometimes has asbestos in it!
