And @sourland how is ketchup spicy!?

It's not. That was the point of the post. :idunno

You have to understand that when selecting the type of olive oil she wanted while at a high end Italian restaurant on a cruise ship she said, "I'll have the olive oil without olives." The waiter look dumfounded , and I fell on the floor laughing.

Well I'm siding with Princess, some brands of Catsup are too spicy for me. It's not a mind thing - it is an acid reflux thing.

I've never cared for olives. What's she means is she doesn't like olives but, the taste of olive oil is probably okay to her. Or she wants olive oil as a dipping sauce or condiment.

I do not like strawberries they are fuzzy with their seeds on the outside. I do like the taste of strawberries without the body parts. In other words the juice from strawberries.

There is nothing wrong with Princess. She doesn't have the pack mentality where she feels she HAS to go along with the others. I happen to like hot dogs with Catsup on them. At Sam's club I was anointing my hot dog thus when a man near me pointed that out to his wife. He said "She's using catsup." I turned around and said, "Yes, it's very good that way. She probably smacked him silly when they left the store.

Funny but, the last time I was in Sam's, a couple of men put catsup on their hot dogs. I am also able to tolerate a small amount of relish, so I sneak some in there as well.

Catsup is what attack me the hardest when we go to our favorite Mexican restaurant
Jalisco's they make their own salsa I take many kleenex as know I will have sinus fits
but love the flavor ... I have this little tool to gut strawberries I do not like them in there either.. with that I wish all a Goodnight

Ketchup does the acid reflux thing to me too but see I guess we have different words for stuff or ideas of the meaning or something cause to me spicy is like hot, clears the sinuses type thong, like jalapenos or hot sauce or buffalo wings or probably ghost peppers but I'd never try one. Tomatoes and ketchup to me are definitely acidic, which I guess is how I'd describe it, but not "spicy" per se, at least to me. Does that make sense?

But I get what you mean and I think we have the same issue with it just maybe not the same word.

I never used to have an issue with it.

But maybe some brands are more acidic or spicy than others.
