No, the therapist said that would make things worse. He said the tendons below the knee cap would try and 'pop' the knee cap off, would be too much tension on the ligaments and muscles, try to compress them...not good.

They used to eat dogs here and it wasn’t that long ago. There wasn’t much else to eat after the Spanish civil war. Franco’s army drove the allied and Catalan forces up into the mountains where I live and naturally enough in order to eat and stay alive they killed anything that was edible.
The wildlife population here still hasn’t recovered.

It sounds like your part of the world has some interesting history.

It has got a lot of history, most of it troubled.
It all went wrong after the Roman Empire gave bits of Catalonia to retiring officers as payment for loyalty.
When the Roman Empire stared to crumble Rome called on these people they had bestowed bits of Catalonia on, but they failed to answer the call and in some case turned against Rome.
The feud between the Catalonians and the Spanish ahs been going on for centuries and the possibility of civil unrest against the Spanish is always on the horizon.
