So sorry you are still suffering. My pain will not go away either. I have my follow up Ortho appointmnent in a couple of days. It's leveled off, about a 5 now...it's not the surgery or broken bones that are giving me the pain. It's the tendons on the sides of my knee and under the knee cap that are causing the pain, and my lower leg injury from 9 years ago, is also having the same thing happening to it. From what the therapist told me, it's due to the muscles that had all the trauma inflected on them before and during the surgery...it's made the cartilage spongy, so instead of being smooth and hard, it's acting kinda like velcro and catches on the bone. Weird, huh! Supposedly the PT will help strengthen the ligaments and they 'should' start hardening up again. Time will tell. Some days the pain is worse, other times it's not.
