Hi, and welcome to the Café, ellie. There's generally a fresh pot of coffee on the counter and occasionally somebody even brings in breakfast or carbohydrates.

My grandfather put coal oil on everything that hurt him....claimed it worked! So every time I hurt myself around him, he'd put coal oil on me...ran around smelling like an old coal oil lamp!

My folks used coal oil also. I ran a rusty nail through my foot when I was 5 or 6. Put coal oil on it and never had a problem.
