so far it seems like a repeat of a miserable 2018

Please don't say that! 2018 was the worst year for me and I'm desperate to make a better year of 2019.

Donuts!? Oh, my no! I'm paleo!!
I do have a lovely frittata waiting for me though. Just sat back down with a nice mug of dark roast, the fire is blazing in the wood stove with Ben relaxing in front of it and my two little dogs are cozied up with me on the couch.
I think I saw Dorothy and Toto zing by my window. Man is it windy here this morning.

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is on the stove.
Not a good start to the New Year. I've got an injured hen who can't put any weight on one of her legs. I had hoped she would be better this morning but she isn't.
Can't think of much else at the moment.

My rooster hurt his leg too. I am sure it was from jumping off the perch in the coop. They flop down like rocks!

No donuts ? Wind It's here too - part of the same system. At least there was no snow here - 'only' another 2" of rain.
