Yes! It's a continuity of care model. You're with the same midwives from your first appointment until 6 weeks postpartum. It's an excellent system I feel lucky to have access to.

Yup, continuity of care can make such a difference, particularly to the mum. You sort of get to trust a particular midwife if they're any good and really if you've got stitches or are having breast feeding problems after a birth the last thing you want is some stranger reading notes as she tries to catch up on what happened.

Hopefully I get to replace some ice cream today - didn't find any cheap enough at Wally yesterday.

DQ had their stuff half price on the 30th of Jan. Hubby bought 2 ice cream cakes! Everyone loves those, especially the grandkids!

It is supposed to hit 74° here today, and the sun is shining! Yesterday we made a firewood storage area under the porch, with a tin roof. Today i hope to clean up around the barn.
I sold one pair of guineas, and i have someone coming for 3 more pairs on friday. Hubby wants them gone due to the noise factor.

So no more guineas at your place Cap? I've never raised any but have read a lot of comments about their noise.

To avoid this trajedy in the future I'm picking up a can of espresso while I'm at the store later for my second cup of the day. There's this Cafe Bustello (sp?) that my daughter gave me at her place and I liked it. Hubs will only drink Folgers breakfast blend and it has to be in the French press. I love the press, the coffee is so so.

I had about 24, but this will help in cutting the noise. I plan to sell all of them. I can always let the chickens run around eating ticks.

We used to order all our coffee from an online company (Specialty Java) but it was getting too pricey. I also love Black Riffle (that's a treat due to cost). So for every day stuff we can get at the store, we like 8 o'Clock. It's got a pretty good rich taste.

Cafe Bustelo was huge down in the Keys but it was a bit too acidic for me. Have you tried any of the Cafe du Monde coffees? Some of those are good and some grocery stores carry them.
