I love the quail but i overestimated how many i would sell. I have so many cages it takes quite a while to feed and water.I like your theory that the bantams don't count. I'm going to have to try that on Igor and see what he says.
Honestly, the quail are less work for me. Quiet, in an enclosed garden instead of pooping all over the yard. Plus, I like their eggs better than chicken eggs.

I imagine so. I keep ours in one big cage which keeps it pretty simple.
I'm seriously considering bantams for our future flock. I want NN's though, not sure if I could find them but haven't looked yet.
There are probably lots around there being in a warm climate like that!
