HA "do I have an extra spoon?" How about a utensil compartment full of them? Not ordinary spoons but long stemmed ice tea spoons to reach effortlessly to the bottom of 1.5 quart ice cream cartons.

When I gave up ice cream for a few months, I passed two sacred new spoons along to a great friend, to keep the tradition going. No pow wow necessary.

PS. I got them when the bus used to take us to shopping mall that had Bed,Bath & Beyond. Spoons were $ 1.99 BUT, I had 20% off cpns. from BB & B so that easily covered the tax.

My son also has two sacred spoons. He is dating someone, and said they went to Bainbridge Island, 3 times. Does THAT mean it's serious?

Coffee is one the stove. Super strong this morning. Treacle knocked my hand as I was filling the pot.
Blue sky and sunshine here. Could really do with a bit of rain.

I don't know if that's serious, but it's a beautiful place so it might be.

I take it from your location you haven't had serious snow problems?

No snow, Phoenix is known as the Valley of the Sun. If it snows it sticks for 30 seconds and is gone. Summer temps last year were over 46 C for several days. The news has advised it may be the new normal due to global warming.
