Good morning Debby and Sean and the rest of you when you arrive.

I've got a day of taking those I take care of to their doctors appointments. One of the appointments is a 1.5 hour drive away. Sigh. Then one of the dogs has a vet appointment tomorrow.
And it is now 26 days and counting before the chicks arrive and I have a ways to go before the coop is ready.

The first day wasn't too bad...got the inventory done and 2 big orders submitted so it's a start. Can't order any perishables right now as the big walk-in died and has to be repaired. Hopefully that can be done quickly, then I can submit another big food order.

Hope the appointments go ok Dobie. I get it about the drive...that's what I have to do just to get a regular check up.

Your coop is shaping up, I bet you'll have it ready for them by the time the chicks get here. Are you going to brood them in the coop?

Hi Sean

I'm headed outside to get the temporary quail housing materials ready to set up today. I can't stand the smell of those things! This will be our last batch of quail and then I'm done. It was fun, but I'm going to stick with chickens only from now on.
