Sean, good luck. I can't believe how long this has been going on for you!

Hubs has to work today. I've been outside all morning since he left doing yardwork and watering. The backyard is as done as it's going to get today. Still need to water a few things in the front yard. I'm debating doing the grocery shopping, hubs wants to try to get the mini coop finished tomorrow and then finish trimming the tree so he'll need my help.

The quail babies have been outside a couple of days now. They seem to enjoy the extra space. My sinuses are grateful.

Thanks for the fresh pot! Anytime you post about working outside in the morning it brings back fond memories of living in AZ. The smells and sounds are so unique and nostalgic for me!

Brewed an afternoon pot. Cleaned bird boxes at the beagle club this morning. The bluebirds are already checking them out. They need to hurry before the tree swallows arrive.

Oh, you just reminded me, we are gonna build Bluebird houses out of old license plates and scrap wood from our fence that blew down. Guess we ought to get busy,huh?

Around here the bluebirds nest early in order to beat the nest site competition from tree swallows and house wrens.

Had an x-ray yesterday...didn't look like any improvement in calcification of the fracture?....got an appointment with the doc, Monday, have see what he thinks!
Other than that, the pain had been dramatically reduced until I put socks on, OUCH....that part doesn't make any sense to me it should be totally healed...I think the lag screw is sticking too far out and is causing the muscle to stay inflamed? I'm afraid they just may have to go back in and take out the rod and replace it with a artificial hip joint....if there is enough bone left on my femur to do that...<sigh>

Anyway, Everyone make it a great day!

I love the smell of the desert in spring. We used to go camping out in the middle of nowhere in the desert when I was kid and being here always reminds of that.
