Frank is being a good brother. Actually in my family my brother was the youngest and I was always protecting him. Now we're even.

I know it would be more work but, maybe you need to take only one dog at a time to the dog park. Then it wouldn't bring out his aggressive tendencies.

No movies IM until "End Game" the second half of Avengers: Infinity War- it's a bit over 3 hrs.long (plus the usually 20 minutes of trailers, which should be called previews- like in the olden days.

My grandson is appalled that I haven't seen Infinity War yet. I hope you enjoy!

We're working with Frank on listening. You know how pits are famous for not letting go? Yup. He needs to learn to listen.
He also plays rough and Abby is no slouch because of it. We need better control and he is in that challenge the parents stage.

Just made a fresh pot of Joe, if anyone cares for a cup....don't know why I did, caffeine and Tramadol have 2 different effects on the body, just took a pain pill....oh well, just can't handle the 'stabbing' pain right now, where the lag screw goes into the femur, :hit Had a dream last night and I was in severe pain....so much so it woke me up and there was 'real pain'. <sigh> sure will be glad when it completely heals. I must be turning and tossing in my sleep and injuring the dad gum thing. :idunno

It just makes me heartsick that you are suffering my friend. Healing energy and big prayers going up for you!

Just makes me mad and it's so frustrating to think it's getting better and then takes a turn out to 'way' left field. Haven't had to take pain meds for several months and now, today, I'm having too because something got turned or twisted while I was asleep! SMH... Tramadol is great stuff but at the same time, I hate taking anything unless it's a last resort.

Tonya, the doc told me it could take a year to completely, fully heal. When I broke my tibia and fibia, it took 11months before I was able to walk on it again, and that fracture was nowhere as bad or complicated as this fracture.
Two fractures back to back like this has really taken a tole on my body. That and not being able to do something as simple as put a sock on without causing alot of pain and taking 15 minutes to do so, has put a big damper on my state of mind. I can't take care of my birds like I should be...I've lost several birds in the last week because of it, should have been out there watching them, moving them around to prevent them from fighting and killing one another, or the hens getting injured by an aggressive male.

Sorry about this rant, I'm off my soapbox. I appreciate everyone's concern...I've never been one to feel sorry for myself or a situation I might find myself in....no matter how bad my situation is, someone else is having a far worse day than I....this is trivial compared to what others on here are going through.
