Got into Indy during rush hour and I nearly pulled my hair out. It’s as bad as getting stuck behind a big tractor on the road

Ugh! I've only driven through Indianapolis once and that was enough. It seemed all the other drivers thought they were participating in the Indy 500 Crazy traffic

Exactly haha! Bloomington is no different but at least it’s 70mph on the interstate.

It's 75mph on our highways. Unless a good tailwind gets a hold of your car and then it creeps

I was going to say I would be scared with speed limits that high but then I realized I already go that regularly and sometimes 80 so I wish our speed limits were 70, 75!! Although I kind of don’t because when other drivers are all going that fast, it’s kind of scary!! At least when the speed limit is lower, other people usually go slower and it’s less scary. But our speed limits are usually 60, 65, so yes I speed closer to the city it is even 55 for a stretch. But I never go that far north. And I judge the conditions and adjust my speed accordingly so for example, if it’s super congested or if it’s rainy, snowy, unsafe, I go wayyyy slower, but if it’s pretty wide open and dry then I go faster. I didn’t used to speed but I’ve been bad lately but I try to drop my speed down and not go faster than like 70, 75, cause I don’t like when I get up to 80 or a couple above, that’s way too fast for me. I barely even like 75 but most people do at least 10 above the limit so you kinda have to go at least 70. My brother goes like 85 sometimes which I hate.

I just don’t like being on the road. Faster I get somewhere the better. I try to take backroads wherever I go.

That makes sense. That’s part of why I go fast too but I don’t go nearly that fast lol but when I go from that down to the speed limit, I’m like this is slow as a snail feels soooo slow after going so fast and getting everywhere in half the time lol

I even go 40 on the back roads. Unless, of course, I slow down to talk to the cows, sheep, goats, or random deer. I just love interacting with animals.

I don't do anything special for in laws. We moved away 15 years ago and they've been here once. I love being the black sheep.
