I don't do anything special for in laws. We moved away 15 years ago and they've been here once. I love being the black sheep.
Hahaa! I haven't had in laws for over 20 years really. My ex's mom was a b-hole and I never invited her to my house.
Hubs and I neither have living parents and his nearest sibling has 5 dogs and doesn't judge. But she won't drive here anyway.
Got into Indy during rush hour and I nearly pulled my hair out. It’s as bad as getting stuck behind a big tractor on the road :lau
Never go to Baton Rouge. After Katrina the entire infrastructure was bombed by over population of storm victims and it has never recovered. It sometimes takes 45 to an hour to go 15 miles down the road. I miss alot about Louisiana, but I don't miss that.

Must be something wrong with me. I liked my wife's parents.
I think I would have liked my hubs parents. The raised 3 really great people, and I got to marry one of them.

But my ex was a big manipulator, an only child and only grandchild. Lived with his mom and gmom when I met him. He was good at playing both ends against the middle. I didnt realise he was playing me off until his mom went on the attack. It was way too late when she informed me that I needed to get rid of my 2 cats so I could better support her darling son. That was a WTF moment!

Sorry Becca...that brought on some serious laughing here :lau

The quail chicks are feathering out and no longer have the brooder plate. They're out with the bigs in the garden because they started escaping.

Chickens will hopefully hatch for easter.
I just put my young quail outside. And there are eggs in the incubator.
